Dr. Lauren's Story

Dr. Lauren Vignes Makomi is a Christian counsellor who was born and raised in a Christian family. However, through various life experiences, she endured significant hardships, including assault, trauma, pain, rejection, and humiliation.

During these difficult seasons, Lauren often found herself alone—at home, at work, or on prayer mountains—dedicating her time to prayer and fasting. In her desperation for healing and answers, she earnestly sought the face of God, crying out for His intervention and direction.

It was during this intense season of seeking God that Lauren began receiving vision upon vision concerning her calling. She came to understand that God was calling her to comfort and restore the broken, the abused, and the less privileged. She also believed that, in order to fulfill this calling effectively, she would have to walk through her own storms—experiencing pain firsthand so she could genuinely understand and minister to the challenges faced by others.

Several pastors from different churches later confirmed the calling of God upon her life. Some advised her to attend Bible school for proper spiritual training while waiting for the appointed time to fully step into her calling.

In obedience to this counsel, Lauren enrolled at the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) in 2011. She successfully completed her studies in October 2013 and graduated. She then proceeded to further her education at university, earning a Master's Degree in Theology as well as a Doctorate in Christian Business Administration.

In 2024, Lauren attended a one-year ordination class, which she completed successfully. On 21 November 2024, she was officially ordained as a Minister of the Gospel, to the glory of God.

To fulfil her divine purpose and calling, Dr. Lauren Counselling Office (NPC) in 2024. The official opening ceremony took place on 12 October 2024. We give thanks to God for His grace, anointing, and favour upon her life, and for every soul that has already been restored, liberated, and healed through this ministry.
